‘We needed help, we had a new baby, a sick baby, we both felt the immense pressure of being new parents combined with the sheer day-to-day trauma of keeping our little one alive. When Liam & Alex came to our home, it was like any other visit by a friend, we sat in our own living room with our own cups of tea and most importantly our own little girl. Through our conversations, they listened, let us form our thoughts about what we had gone through which restored some of the hopes we had lost. Most importantly, we were talking to each other again – I remember how we told each other how much better we felt after the first visit.'(Debbie and Adrian)
